Become a Pick Up Artist or PUA

Become a pick up artist or PUA.

For anybody interested in becoming a pick up artist, this is the place to start! Looking, being a PUA is not for everybody. Honestly, I don’t even consider myself one anymore. I’m just living life to my fullest potential in every area, which happens to involve a lot of women. What I would wholly recommend you doing though, is becoming a PUA for at least a LITTLE BIT. This is going to super speed your abilities with women and get this area of your life HANDLED.

So let’s start learning how to be a pick up artist!

In this article, we’re going to talk about your “I Am” statement. Most people don’t realize that this is one of the only missing concepts which holds them back from achieving PUA status. Defining your “I am” statement is about recognizing who you are, what you are trying to achieve, and who you have to be to make this goal a reality.

Let me break it down for you by first addressing the problem.

Most people are too many things to too many people…OR not enough to anybody. These are the two common scenarios that cause underachievement. By saying “not enough to anybody”, I’m referring to the people who have no goals, no drive, and do nothing on a daily basis. For the sake of this article, I’m going to assume that’s none of you. If it is, get reading some of my other articles to get yourself started!

The other case is when people are too many different things. This is incredibly common, and will absolutely stop you from becoming a PUA. Many people are living in non-focused realities where they do so many different hobbies or tasks that they don’t accelerate at any of them. They do lots of different things, but never fully committee to any of them. This results in a person who has mastered nothing, and usually has not achieved the goals he would have liked to.

Being well rounded is great, and I’m not telling you to stop doing everything you love doing. What I am telling you to do is realize that if there is a goal which you want to achieve(like becoming a pick up artist), being well rounded is not always the best way to get there.

Let’s say for example you want to write a book on underwater basket weaving. You want it done by the end of April. What your “I Am” statement must do is define who you are and what actions you must take in order to achieve your desired goal.

For this example, your statement may be something like: “I am a committed and diligent writer. I am spending a minimum of 6 hours a day at my computer. During this time I am unreachable via telephone or email. I am constantly analyzing my writing process and refining it to make it as efficient and energetic as possible. I am dedicated to the completion of this work and to the good it will bring all the other aspiring underwater basket weavers.”

Now this person plans on writing in solitude for 6 hours a day. I would say that statement is far from well rounded. But do you think this person will get their book finished on time? Absolutely!

After a few months of being a weirdo writer in a closet, they’ll have a book done. What does well rounded guy have? He has a minor knowledge of cooking, 2 months experience in yoga, 3 fantasy football teams, the high score on his tetris friends facebook application, and a semi-formed plan for how he’s going to finish his book someday.

Yay!

Let me repeat, I am NOT telling you to stop doing things you love. I am trying to help you realize that by forming a powerful “I am” statement which defines the actions you must take, and then embracing those actions, you will begin achieving your goals one after another. This is incredibly helpful when attempting to become a pick up artist!

Can you see how it applies? Let me keep going, and we’ll make sure we get this.

Here’s another example directly from my life. As I’m writing this article, I’m training for the Pan American competition for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coming up in April. If I want to have any chance of winning, I better start taking the right actions. So, my life changes. Who “I am” changes.

I train roughly 6 times a week and have put making these sessions top priority. I’ve cut down on drinking alcohol by about 95%. I no longer go out meeting women six nights a week (as I have been as part of being a pick up artist hint hint) because of morning training sessions, so it’s more like three. I’m eating strictly healthy, natural foods and have already dropped over 10 lbs. Also, I’m seeing a chiropractor regularly to keep my body functioning the best it possibly can. All of these are changes in my actions with a direct goal in mind, an intention, to win!

My goal becomes more important than the former lifestyle. It’s like a laser focus and once you release any fears of change, it can happen overnight.

If you want to become a pick up artist, you have to craft your “I am” statement. Right actions are a must, and who you are MUST change. If you are currently NOT a PUA, then it would make 100% logical sense that you MUST change in order to become one, right? Right.

So, what are the actions of someone who is a PUA? Oh I don’t know, actually going out? Talking to women? Sucking that fear straight down into your gut, swirling it around, saying “f**k it!”, and approaching that gorgeous woman in the street? If you need to, start small. How about getting eye contact with women and holding it without nervousness?

Even though your dungeon and dragons group might take a beating without their favorite dungeon master, I think you may find it worth it to get focused. I’m not even saying this to be mean, this is from my personal experience! I was my counter strike team leader and was involved in competitive video game playing, spending roughly 25 hours a week practicing alone. Once I decided to become a pick up artists and ultimately expand myself as a human being, all of that just disappeared. It had to!

Creating your “I am” statement is a shift. For many it will be the last realization you need to embrace before you start achieving your goals. For some, it will be the first. It’s the shift toward becoming a man of action, who puts greatest importance on reaching his desired goals, regardless of what they are.

By defining an “I am” statement, you will put increased clarity on which actions are necessary to achieve your goal. Getting specific with what actions will be taken will hold you accountable for the completion of the task. With a new laser focus on achieving your goal, you will have the ability to accomplish more than ever before. When you are experienced, changing your “I am” statement will be easy, allowing you to achieve any goal you can imagine.

For now, start setting your “I am” statement to be that of a pick up artist. What does a PUA do on a regular basis?

You need to start figuring this out, and fast! Otherwise, life will quickly pass you by and you’ll look back on it lonely, wishing you had become the PUA and overall life achiever you knew you could be!
